Destiny 2's Bungie 30th Anniversary Pack includes Halo-themed cosmetics and more

What you need to know

  • Destiny 2's Bungie 30th Anniversary Pack is now live on all platforms.

  • The pack includes new weapons and cosmetics themed after past Bungie games, including Halo and Marathon. There's also a new Dungeon and activity as well.

  • The Pack costs $25 as a standalone purchase, but can also be purchased in a bundle with the upcoming Destiny 2: The Witch Queen expansion.

Destiny 2 developer Bungie has officially launched the Bungie 30th Anniversary Pack, which is a small piece of DLC for Destiny 2 that adds in several items themed after past Bungie games like Halo and Marathon, including new armor sets, a new Exotic quest for a Destiny version of the Halo: Combat Evolved Magnum, and new weapons themed after the Battle Rifle, Energy Sword, and more. There are also several new weapons returning from the original Destiny as well, including the beloved Exotic rocket launcher Gjallarhorn.

To earn these rewards, players will need to complete the new Grasp of Avarice Dungeon that's inspired by the original Destiny's Cosmodrome loot cave. There's also a brand new free activity available to all Destiny 2 players called the Dares of Eternity that has its own set of rewards as well.

To access all 30th Anniversary content outside of the Dares of Eternity activity, players will need purchase the Bungie 30th Anniversary Pack for $25. Alternatively, players can also get access to the 30th Anniversary Pack by buying the Deluxe Edition + 30th Anniversary Bundle version of the Destiny 2: The Witch Queen preorder. The Destiny 2 Bungie 30th Anniversary Pack is available on all Destiny 2 platforms, including Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One consoles, PS5, PS4 consoles, Stadia, and Windows PCs.
